Mcleodganj is a suburb of Kasbe Dharamshala located in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh. Dharamshala is divided into two parts. There is an elevation of about 1300 meters, the lower Dharamshala and the second is the Upper Dharamshala which is situated at a height of about 1800 meters. Upper Dharamshala where Tibetan people inhabited from Tibet in the 60s are living. Who had come to India with the Dalai Lama. The Upper Dharamshala is today known as Mcleordganj. Different types of perception culture are seen here today.
There are also Dal Lakes which are a small clear water lake. Which surrounds the forest of Dev Dar from all sides. There are many waterfalls around this lake, whose water comes and gets in Dal Lake. Here, you can see the beauty of this beautiful lake by walking around the paths built around this lake.
And this is the reason why most of the devotees reach to know the Buddhist culture which is flourishing among the beautiful litigants.Here in Mcleodganj beautiful natural views will be seen as well as wherever you will see hundreds of monks. These sacred monasteries, surrounded by the Bodh Bichu, whose corner has an infinite peace within itself.Now let us also know about which main places to visit in Mcleodganj. Beautiful dense forest and present among them is the church built in 1852 (st. John). During Christmass, there is a crowd of tourists coming to pray. Here the sound of church bells ringing in the silence of the forest, which makes the people present here feel relieved as soon as they fall in their ears.
